Allow us to introduce ourselves......
Laura started with the office over a dozen years ago as a dental assistant. She left to continue her education and returned to the practice as a dental hygienist. Laura takes pride in her work and we take pride in that. Laura is a Council Bluffs native and an honors graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School and Iowa Western Community College. Her hobbies include watching her young son and daughter grow. Laura has recently gone back to school again, this time working on a healthy lifestyles management degree through Creighton Univeristy.
Hygienist Rena is a graduate of Omaha South High School. She completed dental assistant training at Metro Tech before continuing her education in the dental hygiene program at Iowa Western Community College. Rena doesn’t have to worry about what to do in her spare time-- her two teenage sons take up most of that! If she does have an extra moment she enjoys reading.
Chair-side assistant Heather is very much a people person. Teeth are wonderful, but what she enjoys most is getting to know the folks those teeth are attached to! Heather is a graduate of Abraham Lincoln High School and Iowa Western’s dental assisting program.
Business and chair-side assistant Mike is a graduate of Lewis Central High School and the University of Nebraska at Omaha; he recently completed his MBA degree. Mike likes working with his hands, a trait that let him slide easily into dental assisting. He also relates exceptionally well with kids. Mike’s hobby is fitness; he loves working out and has participated in the Warrior Dash, Market-to-Market Run, and the Men’s Urbanathelon in Chicago. Mike loves flying and is a licensed multi-engine commercial pilot.
DIgital x-rays, voice recognition charting, intraoral cameras and so forth are great aids in the dental office. They also require a lot of complicated computer technology. Steven is the office IT guru that keeps it all working. Steven is a graduate of Creighton University and veteran of the Disney College Program. In his spare time he enjoys music, especially playing guitar and trumpet.
Barb keeps the bills paid and the business details in check. As the practice bookkeeper she also handles payroll. Barb grew up in Omaha and is a graduate of Creighton University. Her interests are gourmet cooking and travel. She has two sons in college that keep her on her toes.
Dr. Warner is a Council Bluffs native and graduate of Abraham Lincoln High School, Creighton University (B.S. and D.D.S.), and the University of Nebraska at Omaha (M.A.). Hygienist Stacy does a great job cleaning teeth, and her background as a dental assistant gives her a valuable insight as to each patient's complete oral health picture. A Council Bluffs native and Abraham Lincoln High School graduate, bubbly Stacy enjoys working with people. In her spare time she is fond of sand volleyball, refinishing furniture, crafts, and her dog, who she describes as the light of her life.

Karen is the office manager and senior staff member of the office. In fact nobody seems able to recall a time before she was here. Her experience and training as a dental assistant makes her uniquely qualified as our office chief. Most importantly-- she cares. Always friendly, positive, and upbeat, you will find Karen a treat to work with in scheduling your appointments and helping with insurance processing. She is a graduate of Woodbine High School and Iowa Western Community College. Outside the office Karen likes to spend her time reading and walking. We think the the world of Karen; you will too!
